We have an upsidedown mortgage because we made the mistake to not have a real estate agent involved with us buying the house. The result was that we learned afterwards that we paid about 15.000 over the value of the house in the neighborhood it is in. We really want to move and are wondering if it is possible to work with a mortage company if you have an upsidedown mortgage.

We appreciate any input.

Etal2000, the value of your home is determined by what the market will bear, and you may find that your home appreciates in value to land you "rightside up" in a short period of time.
